Tom & Jerry
- 12 Eggs
- 6 Teaspoons Granulated Sugar
- 1 Teaspoon Grated Nutmeg
- Rum
- Bourbon
- Hot Milk or Boiling Water
Beat the eggs until thick and light in color. Gradually add the
sugar and nutmeg and continue beating until the batter is thick.
Chill for several hours. To serve, put 1 heaping tablespoon of the
batter into a warm mug. Add 1/2 jigger Rum and 1 jigger Bourbon.
Fill the mug with hot milk or boiling water as desired. Stir and
serve with a light grating of Nutmeg on top. More liquor may be
used if desired in the same proportions.
